The Killers sound like Bruce Springsteen. This shit sounds like Cheap Trick!!! Fuck it, "Sacha Don't Sleep" is definitely an awesome song. This kinda rules.
Also, The Killers are a really good band.

this band definitely blows. i saw them at art-o-matic when brightest young things had their big gay jerking-off party that you had to rsvp via email. i was only there to see The Apes and Food For Animals but i stuck around for the dance party to see what all the hype was for. they actually put on an entertaining show but i only enjoyed it because i was standing far away from the (really annoying, drunk, yuppie) crowd. never in hell would i listen to their recorded music, and unless they opened for The Doors or Jimi Hendrix i would never even think about going to another one of their shows.
as for the Killers... they have some good songs... SOME good songs

Their lyrics are really good!
Probably the most insightful lyrics I've ever heard.

this is bad. and fierce allegiance is bad.
but seriously, Group 36.
edit: did anyone notice that it says Dischord direct under their name on their myspace? I mean Dischord's current releases are pretty terrible, but seeing their name associated with this is pretty disappointing.

How did you guys get your 7" on there? PM me the info, can you? you could even just email them if you want. they will take any local stuff, and when they can't sell it, they just distro it to someone else. i think they did that with coke bust records.

whatever happened to washington social club? weren't they going to be the next big thing? people realized that the dismemberment plan wasn't really all that great, so there was no reason to listen to a band that was like a half-assed dismemberment plan. i think you were the one who said this first to me, dan - "the worst genre of music is 'local'."
