Hey, Beck, how's that headrush working for you? I'm trying to save up and get one myself.

it's really awesome, i haven't had time to get 100% comfortable with it. it seems like it is the pedal to get if you care about your delay/loops not sounding digital at all

Hey dudes, if any of you have/know someone that's willing to sell me a tube guitar head, it would be much appreciated. Been playing on this Marshall solid state for a couple years now and it's time for an upgrade. Pedals aren't really giving me all the sound I want.
Anyway, was looking for something relatively inexpensive like a peavey vtm or something within the same range. Any suggestions for heads would be awesome too. I'm willing to drop some dollas if it's for something cool.

I considered getting an akai headrush, but they are extremely noise (lots of hiss), or is it just me? I ended up just getting a boss echo and a dd7 delay from e-bay. I do guitar and synth based drone/ambient shit as Luciernaga - www.myspace.com/theblacklightcollectivefabricarecords.wordpress.com

But, seriously, if you have the money to throw down you should buy this: baltimore.craigslist.org/msg/1999382849.html then you should let me borrow it at shows. Best stack ever.

EDIT: Also interested in the Big Muff. Also, does anyone know anything about Bugera tube heads?

Chris- Big Muff is definitely still available if you want it. Also, Bugera heads are pretty sweet- they're really good copies of the amps they are modeled after, I've heard.

Thanks Zack, I'll let you know about the Big Muff when I have some extra cash after my next paycheck. And yeah, I've been reading a lot about Bugeras and I'm really interested in buying either the 1990 (Marshall JCM 900 copy) or 6260 (Peavey 5150 copy). The sound quality of the Bugeras are really close if not the same as the amps they're copying, but I've read that many people have had tube/wiring issues within a month of buying them, particularly with models made before 2010. I'm hoping that I get one and ten years from now Bugera ends up being the new Sovtek.
